Course content
With the exception of the very first lesson, each subsequent lesson starts with a brief recap of the previous lesson’s content, prior to the introduction and (where necessary) demonstration of the new subject matter for the current lesson.
It is important that as much time as possible is allocated to the pupil’s practical driving experience and as such, although lessons can be booked on an hourly basis, it is much more beneficial – including financially (see ‘Rates’) – for the pupil to avail him or herself of lessons lasting no less than two hours. Conversely, experience shows that lessons should not last any longer than two hours, as knowledge retention and indeed physical well being become disproportionately reduced after that time.
Every lesson concludes with a brief discussion and analysis of the lesson’s events and an action plan is agreed and agenda set for the next meeting. |
